Jet Aviation faced increasing bureaucracy and complexity in flight documentation, driven by heightened health, safety, and efficiency requirements. To streamline operations and reduce the paperwork burden on flight crews, the company implemented DextraData’s Logipad, an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) solution. Logipad, an iPad-based application, connects to a cloud system that integrates with Jet Aviation’s existing software tools, including flight scheduling, SMS software, and flight planning. This setup ensures that all flight-relevant data is updated before each flight and allows the crew to manage and transmit data efficiently during and after the flight.

Air Astana faced the challenge of digitizing and optimizing its operations by implementing an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and Electronic Flight Folder (EFF). Key requirements included integrating existing software, standardizing flight plan templates, and enabling data synchronization via USB sticks. The solution needed to be compatible with multiple operating systems like Windows, iOS, and Android to offer flexibility to the flight crew. The airline also struggled with unreliable network connectivity at its home bases, complicating EFB updates. Additionally, data management, distribution, and ensuring long-term hardware support were critical issues to address.
